First off, today is Joss Whedon’s birthday, so I deem that important internet goings on.
In that vein, we have a fantastic display in the art of naming geeky children. (via @whedonesque)

I may have a small obsession with Twilight. I may have had it since the first book came out. I realize it’s horrible and angsty and give vampires a bad name, but that is also why I love it. Anyway BARBIE DOLLS!

Apparently, it’s Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Day. Because Neil Gaiman said so. Because if Joss is the TV god, Neil Gaiman might be the Science Fiction/Fantasy god. (via @neilhimself)

I’ll mark this now. I’m going to start doing my own blogging thing where I’ll talk about what I want, but the major thing I expect to do is round up links. A sort of “What you missed on the internet today” giving credit where credit is due. I find some stuff on my own, but I get a lot from Twitter and the people I follow. I’ll see how this goes.
